The spill zone5/21/2023 ![]() ![]() Tables are best suited to holding rows and columns of independent data. Spilled array formulas are not supported in Excel tables themselves, so you should place them in the grid outside of the Table. This is because structured references automatically adjust as rows are added or removed from the table. If you are writing a dynamic array formula to act on a list of data, it can be useful to place it in an Excel table, then use structured references to refer to the data. When you press Enter to confirm your formula, Excel will dynamically size the output range for you, and place the results into each cell within that range. But you only need to enter the formula in the top left cell, or F2 in this case, and it will automatically spill down to cell F11. For example, =SORT(D2:D11,1,-1), which sorts an array in descending order, would return a corresponding array that's 10 rows tall. Spill means that a formula has resulted in multiple values, and those values have been placed in the neighboring cells. The spilling behavior described in this topic does not apply to legacy array formulas. ![]() Note: Older array formulas, known as legacy array formulas, always return a fixed-size result - they always spill into the same number of cells. ![]()

The engines of god by jack mcdevitt5/21/2023 ![]() ![]() If the archaeology had not been in the forefront of the story, the book would have lost all of its attraction. The characters are pretty much one-dimensional, the dialog is not very interesting-almost humorless. well, I am not going to add a spoiler here, but suffice it to say, we never learn what it really is all about. There is faster-than-light space travel but isn't that in many other novels? The only exceptional futuristic concept is the. There is a giant space telescope, but there is only a hint as to its true purpose. I especially enjoy science fiction books that contain unique, futuristic concepts. So, this is the first book of The Academy series. This, of course, allows the author to extend the story into sequels. The entire story is a mystery, and even by the end of the book the puzzle is only partially solved. ![]() The best thing this book has going for it, is its focus on archaeology, and the deciphering of clues from ancient alien artifacts. This is a "hard science fiction" novel, with a well-defined plot and set of characters. ![]()

Much of the book is the narrator trying to prevent a possible future he is confronted with. He’s the last human at the end of time, killing everyone who might have invented time travel themselves in order to prevent more mass casualties in war. Like, there’s a dinosaur who eats people for his owner! The narrator is a narcissistic idiot, but I loved him so much. It has all my favourite things, exotic pets, time travel and oddball characters. OPINIONS: I haven’t laughed as much reading a book than I did reading One Day All This Will Be Yours in ages. Then I came here, to the end of it all, and gave myself a mission: to never let it happen again. Ended the fighting, tidied up the damage as much as I could. We were time warriors, and we broke time.
